Ted began his real estate career over 20 years ago as a commercial broker with Cushman and Wakefield in Los Angeles. He honed his early negotiating and marketing skills representing developers in the leasing of high-rise office buildings. He further enhanced his deal making abilities by working with companies in corporate relocations. Prior to joining Hasson, Ted was the Managing General Partner of a land investment and development company in Southern California where he negotiated over $150 million in acquisitions and dispositions. Additionally, he organized a development team that renovated historic office buildings in Pasadena and South Pasadena. Ted takes great pride in his marketing savvy that assists him in maximizing the selling price for properties he represents as well as his experience in protecting an owner’s equity through skillful negotiations. He has a natural ability to create the kind of emotion needed when selling a property that will result in more profit for his clients. During his free time, Ted enjoys hiking, climbing and skiing. When not enjoying the outdoors, you can find him in the kitchen pursuing his passion for cooking. Like many people, Ted’s business was adversely affected by the recession. During the economic downturn, Ted decided to take a sabbatical from real estate and enrolled in Le Cordon Blue Culinary School in Portland. After graduation, he cooked professionally for a few years before making his way back into real estate. Ted’s love for the Oregon Coast brought him to Cannon Beach several years ago. He is excited to be part of the local community while representing clients up and down the Coast. If you are looking for an experienced professional with integrity, marketing acumen and negotiation adroitness to help with your residential or commercial real estate needs, give Ted a call.
